Leaving on a jet plane

My best friend is moving to Hong Kong for 2 years. I'm a little bit distraught. It's not that I'm not extremely excited about her new job and the prospect of a visit, it's just that I'm selfishly wondering how I'm going to manage without her. Who is going to be on hand with top fashion advice for weeknight shopping trips to Westfield and what about our mini-breaks to lovely hot places? So I came up with a genius plan. To ensure that she does come back one day, I gave her one of our new pocket journals engraved with a promise to come back to London (which I consider legally binding). Fingers crossed Easyjet is about to open up a London-Hong Kong flight.
